Best Interface Design Award for UltraShipTMS

For Third Straight Year Logistics IT Company Earns Top Honors for its Software and Services

June 23, 2015 – Chicago, IL – UltraShipTMS was presented with a Bronze level Stevie® Award in the Best Interface Design category in The 13th Annual American Business Awards gala event in Chicago this week. The UltraShipTMS user site design was the basis of this year’s nomination. The UltraShipTMS user interface delivers super-rich functionality on every page with easy-to-use buttons and clear explanations of all features. Compared to competitive offerings, the UltraShipTMS solution puts front and center; all the information users need to access precluding the need for users to click through to subpages and then hit the “back button” to return to previous pages.

“Over the course of my career working closely with numerous TMS applications, it is clear to me why UltraShipTMS truly deserves this bit of recognition for its usability” said Sherry Brown, an acknowledged expert in Logistics IT solutions who recently joined UltraShip as Director of Product Development. “Compared to most of the leading TMS platforms, UltraShip’s user interface is remarkably streamlined and is pleasing to view and use. Beyond aesthetics, usability creates excited users, which drives the widespread adoption critical to the success of TMS implementations” said Brown.

Shannon Potter, Director of Application Development agreed remarking, “Customer experience is of paramount importance to our efforts in development. Concern for user experience is incorporated into every aspect of our planning and our success in this regard is reflected by our consistent Stevie Award winnings over the last three years,” referring to UltraShipTMS recognition in 2014 (a Gold Stevie for ‘Support Department of the Year’ and Silver Stevie for ‘IT Team of the Year’) and in 2013 (a Gold Stevie naming the LoadFusion Optimizer ‘Transportation Product of the Year’).

The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program.
