Newest Version of Critically Acclaimed Transportation Logistics Software Platform Focuses on Internationalization Capabilities, Fleet Management Upgrades and Usability Enhancements
September 22, 2020 – Fair Lawn, NJ – UltraShipTMS, the transportation management system platform favored by enterprise-level agricultural producers and food shippers, building material manufacturers, consumer products packaging companies, PPE/sanitary product producers and other high-volume shippers is pleased to announce the successful deployment of Version 5.19; the latest and greatest version of the burgeoning software application.
The latest release expands UltraShip’s capabilities for shippers operating outside of North and Central American markets. It also adds significant functionality to the platform’s UltraFleet module for private and dedicated fleet management and delivers an array of improvements to usability to a solution already recognized by the industry for exceptional usability and user satisfaction. Other enhancements and upgrades are applied to the core TMS functionality and the sprawling suite of reporting and analytics tools housed in the popular logistics management system.
Notable functionality improvements in Version 5.19 include enhancements to international shipping functionality including platform-wide multi-language and multi-currency capabilities. In addition, the system now offers expanded international location capabilities that further support operations across international locations, enabling more widespread global use of UltraShipTMS and its LoadFusion Transportation Optimizer module.
Version 5.19 offers shippers with private and/or dedicated fleets enhanced capabilities for managing these resources. Integration with fleet telematics tech provider, Samsara Telematics via modern API Integration adds another option for fleets in addition to the existing telematics integrations UltraShip has with Omnitracs and Peoplenet. The UltraFleet module also received upgrades to EDI connectivity via integration with Manhattan Associates, delivering more extensive X12 EDI data sets. Fleet users will also enjoy improved fleet asset management courtesy of the new, multi-line tractor importer which has been added to the Tractor Data Management page.
Usability improvements abound in the new release with improvements to process automation for storage and document management which improves data lookup speeds and restore times. Other usability improvements focus on appointment scheduling enhancements, shipment details page configurability and others.
Version 5.19 does not overlook enhancements to the core TMS module functionality either with robust additions to the platform’s Procurement capabilities, LTL transit time calculations and several additions to the suite of powerful reports and analytics tools.
